The status of The Only Living Boy in New York, Bona Fide Productions’ highly anticipated indie drama, has recently been brought into question by some editing of the information posted on the film’s IMDb page. In light of this confusion I spoke with the film’s producers this morning to find out exactly where the production stands.
First, I can now confirm that the “updates” posted on the site were unauthorized. While the movie is definitely in production, there are a number of inaccuracies being reported. It is not “Filming,” as the page says, nor is Columbia Pictures the distributor. But the producers are continuing to obtain financing and expect shooting to begin in several months.
